New clients for your export company? Intedat will arrange it
Czech industrial production and construction are once again going through a more challenging period. At the same time, orders from abroad have increased year-on-year. Is export a crucial opportunity for Czech companies? And how to reach the right customers in foreign markets?
“Be so good that you don’t get overlooked.” That is the main message of the bestseller by American academic and writer Cal Newport.
At the same time, it is a state that every company would probably like to reach – to offer such high-quality products or services and have such a reputation that customers, whether from home or abroad, come to us on their own.
With minimal marketing costs, with minimal sales costs.
However, the current reality is often different, even for companies that have had no problems selling their products for many years. They too now have to look for new markets and generally approach business development much more actively than before.
Expansion abroad may be the solution
The article After a brief growth, industry and construction are back in the red (ČT24 website) presented an interesting statistic:
“The value of new orders in March this year increased by 5.1 percent year-on-year. New orders from abroad increased by 8.6 percent compared to March last year , while new domestic orders decreased by 1.1 percent. According to statisticians, the value of new orders was 1.5 percent lower month-on-month.”
The higher demand from abroad is evidenced by a well-known fact: In many sectors, Czech companies have a very good reputation not only in Europe but also in the world. This is also the reason why many domestic companies are focusing on exporting goods to the EU and third countries or are at least considering foreign expansion.
It makes sense. As reported by the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic, in 2023 the volume of foreign trade in goods exceeded 4.43 trillion crowns. Germany remains the key partner (about 1/3 of Czech exports) and the EU member states in general, with exports to Ukraine and Turkey , for example, growing significantly.
