Do you know who your ideal client is?
If you want to try our three-minute test , you will need this information.
But how do you identify your ideal client and get to know them better?
The article “Seven Ways To Identify Your Ideal Client” written for Forbes by Rebecca Patterson will help you.
Her seven are as follows:
- Look at your current clientele (and remove those you don’t like working with from the list)
- Think about their habits (what do they read, what information do they look for, where can you find it – on Facebook, on LinkedIn…?)
- Find out what their goals are (what they want to achieve)
- Find out what they are worried about (what problems they are solving)
- Find out how they make purchasing decisions (rationally or impulsively?)
- Ask yourself who you would like to collaborate with (what could you help them with?)
- What they need (write a list of reasons why people might need what you offer)
In conclusion, the author reminds us of a well-known idea: If you try to please everyone, you will ultimately please no one.
Getting to know your ideal client is one of the keys to a successful business.
